But I couldn't have written it any better than Seth Godin did in his latest post, How to live happily with a great designer.
The gist? Trust your designer. I have been preaching this lately because I have seen less and less trust and more and more micro-managing.

My favorite is no. 8:
You don't know a lot about accounting so you don't backseat drive your accountant. You hired a great designer, please don't backseat drive here, either.

This is a must read IMO. Please pass it on to every editor, marketing director and author you know.
